Hawkfish

Like a hawk, who search for a prey from an elevated position, the Hawkfish uses to sit on the top of a coral and search for a prey. They have a habit of swimming away when I get close enough for a good photo, and all I get is a picture of the coral.

Forster's Hawkfish is common and can have many different color variants, as the pictures show.

The Hawkfish can be up to 20 cm in length.
