Moorish Idol

Moorish Idol is very common in Maldives. It may look similar to Schooling Bannerfish, but it is a completely different specie.

Moorish Idol feeds on small animals, algae and plankton. It can be up to 15 cm in length (excluding the long dorsal fin).
