Unicornfish

The Unicornfishes are closely related with the Surgeonfishes and has two pairs of scalpel-sharp spines on their tail roots (instead of one pair as seen on the Surgeonfish). Like the Surgeonfish can it change colors from dark to light in a second or two.

The spine on the head, which gives this specie it’s name, is only found on some of the species, and then mostly on the males.

The Unicornfish can be up to 70 cm in length.
