Trumpetfish
he Trumpetfish is normally seen alone and feeds on small fishes. It swims slowly, sneaking up on the prey, or it is floating motionless in the water, some-times vertically with the head down.
The Trumpetfish can be confused with Flutemouth, which has a much thinner tail and often form small schools. |
The Trumpetfish can be up to 90 cm in length, but rarely exceeds 60 cm. The color is grey/brown or yellow.
