Stonefish

Say "Hello" to the grumpiest face on the reef!
The Stonefish is the most poisonous fish in the Scorpionfish family. Deaths have been reported. 

The Stonefish can be incredible hard to discover, because it looks exactly like a stone covered with algae and seaweed. It can sit at the same spot for several months, patiently waiting for a prey to swim too close to it’s big mouth.

Most of the pictures were taken on a shipwreck. Before the dive did the divemaster tell us exactly where two Stonefishes were located. But when I came to that very spot, I could not find them. A minute later did the dive master swim by and pointed at two objects less than a meter from me: There they were!
